About Little Foxes Nursery
We are a family-run private nursery, first set up in 1996 in the garden of 57 Fox House Lane by Jim and Margaret and their daughters Sophie and Anna.
Our aim for the nursery is to provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment for all our children. We try to nurture, care and challenge each child individually and give the best personal care we can.
Little Foxes' ethos is “to give unlimited and natural play experiences”. The children spend 80% of their day out in the garden area as we feel that children learn a lot more, play more freely, and experience a healthier lifestyle when they have the opportunity to be outdoors.
Our Mission, Vision, and Values
Here at Little Foxes Nursery, our Company Values are at the heart of everything we do. After all, you wouldn’t want to work somewhere that had different values and beliefs than you, would you?
Family - Means everything and we’re all here to support each other.
Communication - Is vital to delivering a quality service and to the effectiveness of our team.
Contribution - To our team, our families and the local community.
Responsibility - To take ownership, lead when needed and be a positive role model for every child in our care.
Customer Service - Always providing the best quality service to everyone, including our team.
We know that people are more than their CV. Your personality and energy can't be summed up on a couple of A4 sheets, so we would love to meet you!
Every week, we run Recruitment Open Days at our Wigan, Newton, and Garston nurseries as an opportunity to meet candidates in person, and really get to know who you are.
It's also an opportunity for you to get to know us! You'll be seeing the nursery firsthand, meeting some of our team, and experiencing what life is like at Little Foxes. Plus, you can ask us all the questions you can think of!
This isn't an interview! Each Recruitment Open Day lasts for a couple of hours to give you a chance to look around the nursery and talk to our team. We want to get to know you so we'll probably ask you some questions about your experience and why you're passionate about working with children. We want you to think of this like a relaxed coffee morning - there might even be some cake waiting for you! 👀
